Try using another controller. if the other controller works fine, it means your controller is faulty, if not, there is something wrong with your xbox or xbox controller port. try isolating that problem first and then come back here if it doesn't help.

If buttons of your controller is not working we need to check the ff: Wireless controller: 1. Check the wireless adapter if properly connected. 2. Reseat the wireless adapter. 3. Check if you are getting stable green lights in front of the xbox for connection notification. TIP: It will be better if your wireless adapter is the wireless-N adapter. 4. You can check other wireless device to connect to xbox to isolate adapter issues. 5. If adapter is failing, replacement is needed. Wired controller: 1. Controller needs to be checked. 2. Controller needs to be tried to a friends xbox. If working, port might be faulty. 3. If controller seems not to work with a different xbox.controller needs to be replaced. How do i connect a wireless x box 360 controller to my x box

  1. Turn on your console.
  2. Press and hold the Guide button on the controller until the controller turns on.
  3. Press and release the connect button on the console.
  4. Within 20 seconds, press and release the connect button on the controller.
  5. When the lights surrounding the power button on the console stop flashing, the controller is connected

Each connected controller is assigned to one of four positions. Each position corresponds to a lighted section around the console power button and the controller Guide button.
If the controller does not turn on, check the batteries. Insert fresh AA batteries, making sure they are correctly positioned in the battery case.

Try set setting a connection between the Xbox and the controller by pressing the small button on the front of the controller (between the LB and RB bumpers) and the small button on the front of the Xbox ( right next to the memory unit B slot.)

My xbox live wireless conection will not work, and the light on the wireless conector will not come on

Once you have all the wireless settings of the router, you are ready to connect the play station or the x-box to the wireless network.

X-BOX

On the x-box you will need to connect to the wireless network now.
Open the main Interface of the X-Box.

1. In the Xbox Dashboard, go to My Xbox and open System Settings.

2. Select Network Settings, Configure Network.

3. On the Basic Settings tab, select your wireless settings.

4. Select the name (SSID) of your wireless network. If your router isn't broadcasting your network's name, select Specify Unlisted Network and enter the name.

5. If your network has wireless security, enter your WEP or WPA key.

6. Try to connect to Xbox LIVE again.

Trouble connecting to the internet on X-box ,Play station or WII ?

You can try to reduce the MTU settings on the router. if the MTU on the router is set to 1500 then change the MTU to 1365. Also you will need to open the ports on the router.

For X-box port numbers are - 53, 80-88, 3074 .

Can not get controllers to work

I'm not sure if this will help, but what I did was to connect a wireless controller to my XBOX with a cord/wire, then turn on my XBOX by pressing the middle button on the controller. This allowed my box to read the controller that way. You can then disconnect the controller from the cord then after, if you like. Unfortunately though, I have to always do this if I want the controller to be connected to my box, so that means EVERY TIME! I'm a little upset about it to say the least.
