SansaE260 load image failed at bootup and ask switch to recovery mode
I have Sansa E260 model which is not starting, at start up it shows load image failed and ask to switch to recovery mode, i have switched to recovery mode and connected to system, sansa updater is just cheking for updates not doing anything.

Recovery Mode: download the update software and install then lock your sansa hold in the rec key on the left at the same time push the menu/power button this will take you to recovery mode then connect to the computer Start the update software if it doesn't start automatic go to /start /all programs /Sandisk/sansa updater/ sansa updater and start it up manually... follow instructions on the updater and the sansa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_95hLqZxCHc&feature=related here is a link to a kid showing you how to go to recovery mode. For me the solution was this:
After entering the recovery mode (turn off the player, move the hold
button to the right, and press the on and rec button, then connecting to
when the 16 mb folder opens create a NEW FOLDER (not a text
document) called "Sansa.fmt". then disconec the usb and it was fixed.
