this masage you get when you didnt choose the recorder ...or ..you have a larger project and auto sected a dvd instead of a cd..and you only have a cd writer on the computer ...so ...it does not see the recorder ...so it offer s the posibility to choose a folder to save the project as an image file ...for later burning...
click start, click control panel, click system, click harware tab, click device manager, click + sign on cd/dvd-ROM drives, right click your cd/dvd, click properties, click driver tab, click roll back driver or update driver. one should work. Good luck.
You may ask your retailer. If there is nothing specific in NERO then you can use any free tool. There are many free CD/DVD writing softwares on the net.Search in downloads.com and google.
Don't loose heart this is not a big problem.Register your DVD writer on SAMSUNG website and then drop a mail to support on the same website for the key, they may respond.
Lost your DVD Writer means ? Does it stopped working ! Open The cabinet of the CPU and check the IDE Channel BUS- cable if that is plugged properly. Also check if the Power plug is properly inserted to your DVD Rom,
If both are checked properly, get the lense of the DVD checked in service center. maximum of the CD/DVD problem arises due to damage in the lense. Anyways, The cost of the lense comes to be almost equal to the DVD ROM price :)
You are going to have to use the ‘rule-out’ method to begin; remove your DVD-ROM and only install your DVD-RW drive as master; see if that solves the problem (a side-note; burners should be set to master and the other drive should be slave).
