Make sure the cam is hooked to the computer properly then go into your Vivicam files open the PCCam folder, click the Capture tab, Scroll down to Master Stream. Make sure video is checked. Hope this is helpfull.

Hi my webcam is not working, the error is the webcam is not connected,I have bought it last year,it was ok since 2 months ago , what shoud I do???

What Operating System are you using? I.E. Windows Vista or Mac OSX?
First you can make sure your cord on both ends is plugged in fully? If so, assuming its USB, plug it into another port. Restart the computer and then try it again. If this doesnt work, check to see if the software that came with the device is installed. Try uninstalling the software and reinstalling it again. This will hopefully refresh the driver and find the device if somehow lost it.
Hope this helps.

I bought the Frontech Diamond webcam and installed the CD and the message shows its successfully installed, as its requested i restarted my system. After i open my cam,, the light will ON but in the CAM...

check if your USB cable is properly plugged.
Also try connecting your webcam directly to your PC instead of through a USB hub

if your webcam's image is not sharp, check to see if it has a focus ring. A blurry image can sometimes simply mean the webcam is not in focus. Adjusting the focus through the ring can solve that problem.

Other picture quality problems with webcams can be addressed by changing the video capture properties for the webcam. Most programs that can use a webcam will have an option to access the properties of the video source, which will bring up the video capture properties window.

I recently just bought a new laptop (compaq presario cq56) it has a webcam and all but its says please turn on the webcam, how do i turn on the camera?

This document pertains to HP Notebook PCs with Windows 7 . A webcam is built into the frame above the display screen on some HP notebooks. Since there is no power button or desktop icon for the webcam, the only way to test and use the webcam is to open a webcam application. Many of the applications used in Vista, such as CyberLink YouCam and QuickPlay, are incompatible with Windows 7. However, HP offers the MediaSmart suite for Windows 7 which includes a webcam application. HP MediaSmart Webcam can record videos, take snapshot photos, add text and animations to the image, track your movements with an avatar, and allow you to adjust the settings of the webcam. Many people use their webcam in a video chat. You can use HP MediaSmart Webcam with most third party video chat programs. Webcamera is disabled or has failed.

You will have to get the software for W7 for the web camera, assuming it is available. Find the website of the web camera manufacturers andsee if they have an updated driver. It'll be under 'Support' on the website.

Is there a driver for D-Link Ver.2.10 DSB-C310 webcam on Vista?

Hey xanthia2313,
According to the manufacturer this webcam is not compatible with Vista. You can try searching for a driver that would make it work using the update driver option.

Sincerely,
