Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S2266 Notebook
TOSHIBA SATELLITE A135-S2266 I DONT NOT HAVE A HARDDRVIVE DRIVE LIGHT SHOW NOT COMING ON AT ALL. THE SECONG PROBLEM IS THE SYSTEM IS ASKING FOR A PASSWORD AND I TRIED TO ENTER THE PASSWORD AS I SET IT UP BEFOR BUT NOT WORKING PEASE HELP ME IF POSSIBLE.

I perform home PC support for a number of friends and family. A
friend recently contacted me who owns a Toshiba A105-S4014. He told me
that the Laptop started asking him for a Password when ever it was
turned on. He said that he had NEVER set any type of password and
nothing he tried would resolve it. A little research at http://pcsupport.toshiba.com
listed a Suppot Bulletin that talked about this EXACT problem he was
having. He was not aware of a BIOS flaw that could cause this too occur
and was frustrated to learn this was a KNOWN problem by Toshiba. Below
is the link the the support bulletin and what systems are affected this
this KNOWN PROBLEM (To Toshiba of course). You need to download and
install the latest BIOS to fix the problem for your model. The program
once you run it will offer you three ways to create a fix given your
circumstances (Floppy, CD or via OS).
Toshiba says that if you have this problem NOW. Then you can take your Laptop to any authorized service provider who will FIX the problem FREE OF CHARGE to you because Toshiba is aware this is their problem! See link below for more detail.
It sucks to have this problem and its one hell of an inconvenience for Toshiba laptop owners!
