Question about Washing Machines
Hi there, I'm in Asia. Last week I bought my first front loading washing machine from Samsung model WF7750S6C. As this is my first experience with a front loader, I really do not know what to expect. I was told these front loaders are efficient and save water and electricity. I was shock to find the water usage per cycle to be around 24 litres for a full load of ~7 kg wash (for either wash or rinse cycle). The manual listed the water volume (whatever they mean by that) as 60 litres. The technician came by but I do not find him convincing. I checked US Samsung website that listed most front loading machine water per cycle at 48 litres. I still suspect something is not right. Could you advise? Thank you
Water usage is about right. top loaders use far more and so does hand washing
only way there would be excessive water usage is if machine were overfilling
