Z-lite sound Cards always have problems. Go to Amazon and get a SoundBlaster Card instead. Windows XP, Vista And Windows 7 have default drivers for most SoundBlaster 16-bit and 24 bit Cards. They cost around 20 bucks.

Sound and audio devices

1) Go to: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices > Audio tab
2) Check what's under "Sound playback: Default device" and "Sound recording: Default device". It these fields are grey and non-clickable, then most probably the audio card driver is missing or less probably the audio card itself is broken.
3A) If you have an original CD of your computer, motherboard, or audio card, insert the CD and install the driver from it.
3B) Or alternatively insert the CD and go to: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > System > Hardware > Device Manager, find any unidentified device in the list, or expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" branch, identify the Audio card > Right click > Update driver... > Install the software automatically > Next
3C) Or alternatively download and install a free driver updater software, e.g. http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/index.htm - let it scan and update all your missing drivers.
P.S. These steps mentioned above are for Windows XP, but will be quite similar on other Windows versions, too.

Sir i have formatted my c drive by that i lost my audio software so i need to install once again

first thing you need to know .. what is the brand of your sound card... that is to know what and where we can download the drivers for your sound card..
samples like Soundblaster, Soundmax,.. etc.. and the only way for you to check that is to open your tower... and read the model on the card itself.. or.. if it is built in on the mother board.. it should be automatic to get the drivers for the sound card you have. if you have internet connection you can do one thing in updating the sound card..
click start> click control panel.> click system > look for hardware tab of device manager > there is an icon with a question mark for sound card.. or maybe more than one.. just try to right click install driver option and usually it will check the internet for the right drivers..
if you still have some problems, message me back ok? .
cheers!!!

No audio output device installed

Have you tried reinstalling the sound driver? if not, click on start, then click on search. type in device manager, then press enter. click the arrow next to sound, video and game controllers. Double click on High Definition Audio device, if it says that the drivers are not installed, click on install drivers.
hope this would help.

When I try to play music I here no soud because i have no audio output device installed,How do I install audio output device on compter(Microsoft Vista Xp)for free?

What type of computer is this?
If you are building this unit yourself, and your motherboard does not come with audio. Then you must purchase a Sound card. I think Soundblaster is a good choice...Try clicking on sys information and see if you system has Audio. if so then check and make sure you have plugged your speakers in too the right output port, look at the back of the computer its usually the green jack.

Thank you

Install Sound Blaster Live Card

Is the Soundcard already in the PC at the moment?
If you need help putting it in, let me know.

Here's an overview of driver for Windows 98. When the card is inserted in one of the PCI expansion slots you must install it's drivers. Windows will probably detect the card but doesn't know how to control it.

Here's the link I promised above:
[SoundBlaster Live! Platinum 5.1 Drivers and Software]

I hope this helps, need more help. Let me know.
Please rate.

Greetings,

DarkNeogen.
