If you use the DVD that shipped with your laptop to restore your system:
Insert the disk, and power the machine on,
watch for the prompt telling you to hit any key to boot to cd/dvd,
ASUS used Norton Ghost to put the image onto your drive. This process can take a while, however, once it is finished the fresh install of the operating system will complete with very little input on your part.
If you have an ASUS netbook, you will need to buy or borrow a USB external DVD drive to do this.

Try a system restore, take computer back in time before this happened. Go to start menu, accessories, system tools, and system restore, you can reverse it back if this fails to work.

Restore asus laptop

Restore or Recovery? Give us more details on what it is you are trying to do.

System Restore does not delete your data, documents, music, pictures, videos, programs (unless the program was installed after the restore date you selected).

System Recovery DELETES EVERYTHING and sets your computer back to when you first purchased it.

My ASUS Eee PC1101HA laptop infected by virus i want to format it now..but right now i dont have my driver cd for my laptop..help me plzzz plzz..thanks in advance

Hello.

I would suggest trying System Restore before formatting your drive.

Boot your system to Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly). Go to System Restore and choose a date when your system worked OK. Note: with System Restore, everything, including your documents and other files you saved on the hard drive, will roll back to that date.

To access System Restore in Windows 7: Open the Start Menu. Click on All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore.

Hope this resolves your problem.
