My camera had same problem!!! Try it: "Press and hold ON/OFF power button for at least 7 seconds, and reboot the camera." See this manual: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/MHSTSseries.pdf. Best regards!!! Francisco
I had the same problem, but i figured it out! It's because the battery was upside down. Just flip it so that the arrow on the battery is pointing down! it worked for me.
