Had my 9x12 Intuos for a year and a half and this problem started for me this week.

Can't find anything to fix it except wait for a bit until it goes away. Frustrating when you're working on a deadline.

I think I have figured it out, I believe it is caused by interference from the computer (probably the hdd). try moving the tablet further away from your tower or laptop.. Mine has to be about 12 inches away to be steady.. I use a Lenovo T61p...

Both pen tip and pen tail(eraser) has a sensor which the tablet can detect. By default there should be only one sensor on the tablet(only one cursor on screen)
so better put the pen some distance away from the tablet (Intuos 3 series even provide a extra pen stand)

My pen for my bamboo tablet is placing the cursor one place on the tablet and and another place on he pc,what can i do to fix this?

Hello,

Go to Control Panel and access the settings for the tablet: you can choose one of 2 mapping settings for the cursor:

1. Pen Mode: this is only to be chosen if the aspect ratio of the tablet matches your monitor aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9 or 16:10) and only if the size of the tablet is comfortable enough
2. Mouse mode: the pen behaves exactly like a mouse

Please check these settings and choose the one that suites best.
Feel free to contact if you have additional questions

Regards,
Katharsys

Is it possible to remove features from a tablet?

I have the bamboo fun pen also. I am currently running Windows Vista 64bit home and have the same problem. I fixed mine by going into the control options > Tablet PC Settings > Other > Go to Pen and Input Devices > Settings (Under Pen Options) Then I clicked at the top Where it states "Enable press and hold for Right-clicking". I disabled that and my pen works with no holding for the right click. I can make scratch marks all day! Hope this helps you too.

Pen and mouse have constant constant cursor jitter Intuos 3 mac

I had a similar problem on my laptop

I plugged the tablet directly into the laptop rather than the USB hub I'd been using until then, The issue disappeared.

Possibly it's a power issue, and going direct cured it?
