Delete the OS Command line inside the MSConfig indow by clicking start - run -type msconfig then press enter. On the MS config window click on the boot.ini tab then you will see the command line inside the text box. Leave the first command line from [Boot Loader] till the end of the command line of your Default Operating system.
(Leave this lines)
[boot loader] timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
(Delete this line) default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Viz XP Example line Professional" /fastdetect (up to here)
any other command line that says Viz XP -- you may delete it. Click apply button then Restart the computer afterwards and this should fix the issue.
Should you have any other questions just please leave a comment.
Hi, To recognize more than 3GB of RAM you will need a 64 bit version of the operating system. If you install Windows 7 32 bit (normal for most users) you will only see 3. You should have both versions of Windows 7 (32bit and 64 bit) on your installation disk. However you will need a 64 bit capable processor to install it. Otherwise 3GB of RAM for a 32 bit operating system is more than enough.
