Question about Lite On SOHR-5238S CD-RW Burner
Most backup software can do this.
If you have about an hour to wait, you can use the shareware version of winrar to create a multi-volume .rar compressed file. You can set the target file size (in this case 700mb) and it will split it up automatically.
Note that when you restore the data in the future you would have to copy the data all into a single folder before restoring it.
Another option you have is to buy an aftermarket backup/archiving program. nearly every one except the free one with windows will let you burn to cd/dvd.

Jul 15, 2011 | Toshiba CD & DVD Burners
your cd/dvd does not need any software to run/read you might need to get some burning software if you want to start burning data to disks
you might want to use free nero lite or you might want use other free burning software
either from majorgeeks.com or cnetdownload.com
hope this helps
