Not sure if understood your question 100% but I'm going to give it a shot. I'm thinking your trying to add metadata to images. This is very easily done actually. My advice would be to use Adobe Bridge to do this. You can add all kinds of metadata to your images one by one, or multipes at the same time. You can also create metadate templates and apply them to 100's of images at once.
Do you have access to Adobe Bridge?

How to add date time stamp to canon rebel t3?

The T3 won't deface your photos by scrawling a string of numbers across them. However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with each image in its EXIF metadata. If you want the date and/or time printed with each photo, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print. Depending on the program and printer, you may print the date/time on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

The date is stored in the metadata of the picture - it is not in the image itself. Metadata is the stuff that the camera adds to the digital file for other purposes.
in order to print the date on to a picture you must use some software that will extract the metadata and superimpose it onto the image.
