Unless you can get that from your carrier, you won't get the unlock code for free. you can get it from $16.99 to $49.99 here: http://www.gsmunlocklabs.com/unlock-blackberry-c-56.html or here: http://easygsmunlock.com/unlock-blackberry/

I need to unlock my blackberry pearl 8100 in order for it to work on another network. currently its on rogers IMEI # 355507.02.083608.1 please can u help

Its simple all you need to do is buy an unlock code from a website like http://blackberryimeiunlockcode.net/ or any other website, on website order your unlock code by entering your imei number & network which your bb locked to. You`ll get your unlock code through e-mail with in few minutes with instructions of entering the unlock code. Just follow the instructions for entering the code & That`s it your blackberry has now unlocked & then you can use it with any GSM Sim card worldwide.

The Website will give you the blackberry unlock code as cheaper, as well as much faster (within 1 minute) than a shopkeeper does. Website also gives you a 100% money back guarantee if the code does not work. This is the best way to get unlock code for your bb & unlock it from the comfort of your home.

Unlocking through code is permanent means it cannot be re lock again itself!!!

Blackberry pearl 8100 tmobile, with cingular sim

The MEP code is the same thing as a subsidy unlock code. The codes are specific to each IMEI. Meaning at&t could not unlock a T-mobile device and vice versa. You first need to find out which carrier has locked it to their network, then call them and ask for the code. I am not sure what the other carriers do, but at&t will unlock a phone bought from a third party as long as it is either a new at&t device (att in lower case) or a Cingular device and the IMEI does not appear on an active account, whether it be in write-off status or not.

BB PEARL

you will need to contact your service provider...it is free but it will take a few days to get the code back if they have tot contact the manufacterer....but you need the 16 diget code......after you get that, go to options, advanced options, sim card, type MEPPD. scroll to sim card, type MEP and pres the ALT key and then the 2 key.

if that doesnt work, instead of typing MEP2, try pressing and holding the ATL key and type MEPPE

if this works, a window will pop up asking for the unlock code....

**note** you will need to put a 'forgien sim card' in the phone at the time that you unlock it
