Probably need an installer - depends on yr/make/model of car - stereo and wiring diagram for sub system. There are lots of questions need answering and if not installed properly, you can certainly damage the stereo, sub system. Subs use a lot of power and improper wiring could cause problems, even fires !

I want to install a self powered woofer and tap it to the rear speakers. Can you please tell me what are the colors and polarity of the rear speaker wires for 2006 Honda odyssey right hand drive

FIRST OF ALL --- THERE IS A FEW THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE HOOKING UP
A WOOFER LIKE THIS ---- IS THIS A STORE BOUGHT POWERED SUB WOOFER ? DOES IT HAVE IT'S OWN CROSSOVER BUILT INSIDE ?? I WOULD GUESS IT NEEDS TO BE HOOKED
UP TO A SUB WOOFER OUTPUT FOUND ON THE BACK OF THE IN DASH PLAYER ..
THE WOOFER NEEDS TO RECEIVE ONLY LOW FREQUENCY AUDIO WHICH MOST OF THE NEWER CAR STEREOS PROVIDE BY AN RCA JACK ON A SHORT WIRE COMING OUT OF THE STEREO ...
IF YOU TRY AND TAP IT TO FULL RANGE SPEAKERS THAT ALREADY ARE CONNECTED TO AN AMPLIFIED SIGNAL THE SOUND WILL BE DISTORTED .......
POWERED SUB WOOFERS NEED A LINE LEVEL INPUT WHICH IS MUCH LOWER THAN SAY
SPEAKERS ALREADY RECEIVING AN AMPLIFIED SIGNAL.
POWERED WOOFER WILL ALSO NEED TO HAVE A 12 VOLT ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AND A GROUND WIRE TO OPERATE THE AMPLIFIER BUILT INSIDE.
IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH THIS TYPE OF HOOK UP I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND SOMEONE WHO DOES [ CAR AUDIO SHOP ]

I have a 1998 ford contour with the original radio installed and im replacing it can someone tell me where to find the wiring diagram or the schematics so i know which wire is wich?

Your best bet is to buy a wiring harness for your car at your local parts store or your local electronics store. It will plug right in to your factory harness and then you just have to match colors with yor new radio.

How can I hook up subs to this stereo

If this is a FACTORY radio you need to buy an adapter for the stereo, This is an example.

RCA OUTLET plugs are connected to the amp.

This is an example. you have to get the one for your vehicle, You can also check the dealer. They might have one.

When my RCAs are hooked up to my amp, my subs start hitting without any volume turned on

1. Check Grounding system (Player and Power Amp).
2. Ensure your RCA cable is OK
3. You might adjust volume or bass volume on power amp to maximum, just set all to 50% while you are tuning.

My speakers make almost no sound at max volume. However if you listen closely, the music still plays, its just not amplified. How can i check the amplifier?

if you are wanting bass adjust your amp settings to low pass. if you are wanting a lil bass- a lil treb- adjust your amp to full. and make sure your rca cables are hooked up in the proper spots.

Have stock radio # F75F-19B131-AA its in a 1998 F250 need to know how and if i can hook up one Amp for the two door speakers, and if i can hook up an additional Amp for some subs. Ofcourse if radio can do...

You will need a line level converter for starters (takes speaker level signal and converts it to line level/RCA signal) you connect this to the speaker left/right wires and it has a RCA left right on other end to connect and run to your amps, (you need this box because factory radios don't have RCA outputs on them) At that point all you have to do next is run the power/gnd/rem for your amp and then speaker wires to your front/rear speaker and then sub (if using). You can use one of these converters for your front/back speakers so you will still have use of your front/back/left/right fading options. make sure you disconnect th factory plug/harness at each speaker since the amp will be powering them and you will run speaker wires to each speaker. If you only want one converter it will be on your front channel and your sub will be power by the front. (you will fade to front for more/less sub bass unless your amp has a separate volume/bass control). If you want your sub to fade with rear speakers you will need to install another converter off of the rear speakers. Found a site with some photos that may help you with your project.

Sound is coming out but no bass

Make sure that the rca cables that you have coming out of the deck to the amp arent switched to highpass(no bass) and check the amp and make sure that the crossover is set to lowpass(LP) see if that helps

Installation a new speaker in stock sound system

One thing you should know when you install the new speaker it is going to pull most of the power away frrom the factory speaker. In order to get the true sound of the speaker, remove the factory one..I know that the door panel might give you trouble, but it will be worth the trouble..If you tell me what kind of car you are working with, I can help you remove the panel easy.
