Have you tried starting windows in safe mode? or did you try the other choice of last known good configuration?

Toshiba Tecra A3 Bios Password, won't let me past any screen until password entered

To reset the BIOS read the information from this link.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

Bios password

Some Toshiba bios passwords can be reset using the Key Disk.exe utility, to do this you need a 1.44Mb floppy disk.

Format the disk using Windows and then with a hex editor, change the first five bytes of the second sector to 4B 45 59 00 00.

Then put the floppy into your machine and boot it up, you’ll be asked for a password, just press Enter.

Then when you’re asked to set the password, type Y then Enter, this will get you into the bios configuration where you can then type in a new password.

Boot up problem with Toshiba Tecra

easy:
1. get a window cd reinstall a more time.
2. go on line to download your laptop model's drivers. (www.toshiba.com).
just take a little long to do so.

it is not a big deal.

base on your case, you have nothing to do about, unless follow what i say, becasue you have a sries problem.
