When you see the a picture with missing color, but the television is capable of showing colors on screen you have a cabling problem from the device sending the picture to the TV.
If you are using component video, three separate connectors red, green, and blue, and they are all matched to correctly colored termal on each end, be sure all cables fit tight. If the cables are tightly connected to the terminal of matching color at each end you will need to replace the cable. Component Video Cable on Amazon.com(with a picture)
If you are using S-video, older connection type where the cable end is a ring with four tiny metal pins plus a plastic square, one of the bins is either bent or broken. If you are unable to adjust the pins to fix the cable replace it. S-Video Cable on Amazon.com(with a picture)

My mistubishi WS-65713 73 inch tv's colours are off. There is mostly blue and green and some colours are non existent like red and yellow. What is the problem?

Sounds like a convergence problem which is common in these sets

This model uses two of the stk394-250 convergence output devices or chips.

Both would have to be replaced.

Mitsubishi vs 5051 rear projection tv sound but no picture

No video but good audio Mitsubishi VS5051. Check R509 and R 519, 100 ohm resistors located on the main PCB near the flyback transformer. Also bad connections on any of the yokes and the vertical output IC will cause the same problem.

Mitsubishi vs-5051

First you can safely take off back and look for Screen controls&Focus, Gently turn up the 3 screen controls this will add light to picture, but you need to evenly turn up, the 3 colors are red, blue, green. the other 3 knobs are for focus. Do not turn them if you do you will need to realign the focus also. And if this doesn't help then there is a high voltage capacitor leaky in the flyback area.
