Mylar tabs are bent over in feed unit. Push a stiff thin piece of plastic (like a help wanted sign) the same way the paper feeds through.

Supply rec paper tray - what does this mean when the tray is loaded?

OK, I was having a similar problem: Tray full of paper and tray adjusted properly.

Whatever I tried, the printer kept saying load paper.

I went to print menu>properties button (windows XP this is next to the printer name)>paper source tab.

It tuned out that the paper source had been changed from cassette to multi-purpose tray.

Change it back to cassette and you should be golden.
