I go to Canada a lot for business. I use to have a RAZR with ATT and when i'd go to Canada, it would pick up the Rogers network. I only had to call them and ask to allow roaming fees in Canada, Europe and Asia. Everything was great.
I recently got an LG Shine. It won't let me roam. It doesn't say "no network". It picks up a network but says "network not allowed..." or something like that. I did restart, took the SIM out, and all that good stuff, but nothing works.
One tech guy I talked to told me that I only had to check an option in the "connection" menu. The problem, I DON'T HAVE THAT OPTION ON MY @#^@%%^@ PHONE. The menu should show 3 options there (according to their records), but my phone shows only 2 menus (the one I need is missing). I've spent hours on the phone and in store with 8-10 different persons and they all have no clue of what's going on. Any idea?
