Question about Samsung MW1030WA Microwave Oven
It will beep and just turn on by itself with nothing in it and no one touching the buttons. I'm assuming this is dangerous. Should I just get rid of it?
You should keep it unplugged until it is fixed.
You have a failed keypad.
If you (or someone you know) might want to replace it yourself, I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically involved.
If you reply back with your brand and model number, we can point you to a part supplier.
If you would like to have us do this job for you, we do that for $39.95 plus part costs.
Please feel free to contact me directly (and include your model number) if you need more help.
We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
