Hello,I hope you can answer the question below for me. My dishwasher is a Hotpoint model BFI680 - integrated. I want to replace the old interlocking assembly with a new one as the spring has broken and I can not close the dishwasher door. I have trouble removing the old interlocking assembly though. I can not see any screws that keep it into place as with other models. Instead, it looks like that it is "clipped" to the dishwasher door via the two inner side round holes at the bottom. Tried to remove it with putting a flat screw driver under them and applied some force but gave up as I was quite scared that I will break something and make things worse. Any suggestion on how to remove the old interlocking assembly when no screws are in place? Many thanks Andreas

SOURCE: Dishwasher door won't close

OUrs did the same, it was a tiny spring that needed replacing. We just turned off at mains, unscrewed front and took out the unit. Took broken spring out and found one at our local DIY shop. fitted and put back in. ALOT cheaper than replacing the unit!

Lamona dishwasher E01 error

There are two ideas on this! The flood switch is more likely. There is a plastic tray above the floor and below the pump. The flood sensor is in the tray.

Error Code E01 - this error code usually relates to problems with the door lock (in some models this is indicated by error code E07). Checks will need to be made on the connection to the circuit board and to the lock itself, for any broken wires and to see if the interlock is faulty.

How do I remove the soap dispenser draw to clean it?

In general, soap dispensers are designed to be integral to the machine. While the machine was put together by human hands and therefore should be able to be disassembled in the same way, it may very well be more of a task than you wish to take on.

This answer assumes the dispenser is basically functional and you have no reason other than cleanliness to want to remove it.

I suggest you clean the dispenser in place and forego removing the unit. I think you will be happier in the long run with this approach.

Good Luck,
Pete

Hotpoint dishwasher will not start, no lights #143143c8354p10. Econo 120 system

Hello. There is a door interlock switch that allows the system to operate only if the door is closed. If this switch has malfunctioned due to age, wiring breakdown, etc, nothing will happen. I am assuming the model number you have is the HDA2000G04 because I saw where you asked the question on another website. If this is indeed the model, the interlock switch, should you need one is WD21X10261. The timer is WD21X10236. This dishwasher is also equipped with a flood switch on the bottom. Remove the kick panel and check to make sure there isn't a leak underneath causing the switch to trip. I hope I helped you!

My Hotpoint BFI680 dishwasher trips the mains just during the drying cycle.

This is caused by having a dryer element, if you are able to get to the back of the element look for where the wires connect to it, I am almost positive the element is bad, always turn off the power when looking at any electrical unit to service , if not sure use a tester, you should have zero volts at the connection box near lower right hand side near floor. you can get this element from here if you have all the information on this unit, http://www.appliancepartspros.com/ you can also email me at [email protected] good luck
