It is under sound settings in the setting menu. Set Keypad Tones to silent :)

SOURCE: Keyboard sounds

To turn the keyboard sounds off, first go to menu, then settings, then profiles, then normal,press options, customize, and scroll down to Key Volume and adjust sound. I hope this helps. I had the same problem!

To turn on the backlight on the keyboard follow the steps below. The keyboard backlight LED can be accessed through either the Quickset Utility or Windows Mobility Center depending on the installed application.Once this is open click on the Keyboard Backlighting section. Make sure the keyboard light is turned on.

I have just had my computer serviced for the first time and now can not turn the sound off by using Fn+ F10. Was told to download Asus Keyboard, but have not idea what to do. At the moment I have to use...

The notebook is on and all is okay except that when I try and type - nothing happens!! What should I do to restore the keyboard? I have an Acer Model NAV50. Thank you.
Sounds like your computer is looking for an external keyboard. If your mouse works go to Control panel and go to Keyboard and click internal keyboard.

Sounds like it either needs a new Keyboard or the Keyboard is not connected all the way. I'd replace the keyboard. There are now drivers for it.

Acer wireless keyboard kg-0917 right side of keyboard stuck on numbers
On that keyboard, the numpad is integrated into the alphabetical keys on the right side of the keyboard. You have to fit Fn + NumLk in order to turn the NumLock off and make it work normally again.

make sure this keyboard is compatible with the new system.
I would check especially if your system is vista.I'm sure it was setup to use the new keyboard

Logitech s510 keyboard
I had this problem for a very long time as well. Turns out this is an encryption issue. It's off-balance. You need to reset the encryption, and here's how:

On the LEFT side of your wireless keyboard press and hold Ctrl+Alt, and press F12, then release all three buttons. Now push the Connect button on your Wireless Receiver, then the connect button on your wireless keyboard. Now press Esc. Try it. See if it works. It did for me.
