On some touch screen device, the tough part of the screen won't work when it has a crack. So it ill be difficult to unlock the screen as long as it has a crack. Ask yourself if it is worth repairing the screen, when you know what a repair shop asks for the repair and what a new device costs.

In the case of a cracked screen, if you purchased a product plan, it may cover a cracked screen and the place where you bought it may replace it. I other option is to find a local repair shop and haggle out a deal. Find out what the part would cost, amazon search, then haggle on labor, shouldn't take more than an hour. If the tablet cost $250 or less, right it off and buy another. Also, spend the extra money and get a cover for it with reinforced corners. It has saved my tablet 4 times so far.

Replace it. I'm sorry but you can't get a screen repaired. The liquid crystals inside have either been cracked, crushed, or destroyed on the cracked area. :<

If it is a physically cracked screen I would recommend either searching for a screen replacement on eBay or a local store in your area may do tablet and cell phone repairs. If you feel like you are pretty handy then you can try repairing the device yourself.

it cant be repaired but it should be able to be replace but i havent seen a replacement screen so u might just have to buy a new one
