Hi,
To do that you need to take the pump apart...take the bolts out that hold the motor to the pump and then unscrew the impeller from the pump shaft....
All this is not easy and will be very difficult if you are not experience and handy with your hands...
getting the impeller off in one piece can be the toughest part...

I have a 1hp 115/230 phase 1 sprinkler pump what size pressure switch do i need 20/40 or30/50 ?

The pressure switch needs to be sized for the pressure and the motor current. The pressure would depend on your piping system, and hao many sprinklers you have on a section. You can buy a pressure switch that is adjustable, and you can set the pressure you need. You also must be sure the current rating (amps) of the pressure switch can handle the motor current (amps) there are is a wide range of switches available. You can't go wrong with a square d though. Available Home Depot, graingers, electrical supply etc.

Irrigation sprinkler pump, flotec, 230VAC wiring

green to srcew on the motor. this is ground.,
Black on T1
Red on T2

If the rotation is going the wrong way, simply switch the black to T2
Red to T1.

Check this before you couple it to the pump..
