The blade is stuck in the jigsaw, is there a way to get it out? Usually you push down this little lever and it releases it, but that is not working.

Spray some WD40 or equivalent into the blade holder, leave for a couple of minutes, then pull down on the blade with a pliers while pushing on the lever.

Ks656pe how do i change the blade? i don't have any instruction. Please

Quick-Change Blade Mechanism
Higher-end models, such as the Linefinder Orbital Jigsaw, feature a clamping lever to hold the saw blade. To change a blade, switch off the jigsaw, unplug it, and let the used blade cool down. Pull up the saw-blade locking lever and let the used blade fall out with a slight shake. Turn the jigsaw upside down. Hold the fresh blade with its teeth forward; insert the blade shank into the blade holder as deeply as it will go. Release the lever and wiggle the blade to confirm that it's snugly in place. For models with rollers, such as the Accu-Trak, nestle the blade against the rollers.
Clamp or Hex Screws
Loosen the pair of screws -- on the front of the mechanism of models such as the single-speed jigsaw -- a full turn counterclockwise with a flathead screwdriver, but do not remove them. The used blade will fall out. Insert the new blade fully into the clamp. Lightly tighten each screw alternately and then fully. On older models, you may find a single hex screw on the side of the blade. Loosen this enough to remove the blade, and then insert a new blade carefully so the teeth face forward. Retighten the screw.

The blade broke off inside and I can't get it out. Please help me figure how to get it out.

moden jigsaw blades are held in with a taper chuck system
disconnect the unit from the wall socket
push the spindle all the way in
now press on either side of the blade holder and that should move down releasing the blade
now while holding that section down turn the unit right side up and the broken bit should just fall out

How do I change a blade with the Bosch 1587VS?

you need to lift up on the knob to loosen the spindle and remove/install the blade. To install the blade you might need to turn it some and push up and when it is straight then you need to turn the knob while holding up on it till it is snug and then push the knob down.

I have an old bosch 158IVS uh, what do you call a little reciprocating saw? jigsaw? anyways i can't for the life of me figure out how to change the blade. i've undone every screw. opened up the motor...

well the sawzaw will be drastically different from the jigsaw, but the jigsaw will have either a round twist lock that needs to be turned a little to remove the blade, or two screws that hold a flat plate that clamp the blade. and as for the sawzaw, it will be a twist lock, or a latch lock, the latch lock will look like a lever that needs lifted to remove the blade, and the twist lock is the same as the jigsaw.

Blade stuck in reciprocating saw

The pin is probably stuck in the blade. This happens from time to time after they get dirty. Take some WD-40 or some other type of penetrating oil and spray a little in the blade holder while working the release lever. It will probably free right up.

Makita 4304T. jigsaw blade Do not know how to fasten it?

On the top of the Makita 4304T is a knob, (Top/Front)
This is the blade Installing Lever.

Viewing the jigsaw in the direction you would use it, the Installing Lever is turned towards the Right. Keeping it turned, you then install the jigsaw blade. Once you have the blade up in the Blade Holder, gently release the Installing Lever.

I have a milwaukee jig saw, 6268-21 that I cannot load blades.

Yes the Milwaukee 6268-21 does require the use of certain jigsaw blades. You have to use T-shank type blades. You push the tension lever hold it while putting the blade in as far as it will go, then you release the tension lever slowly and it will engage the blade. You should then check by pulling on the blade to make sure it is seated properly and will not come out.
