Everything works OK but will not heat anything

Look at magnatron for holes, diode, and HVTransformer..Depending on age of microwave you may need a new one.

Wont power up, was cooking pop corn and it just quit i unpluged it and pluged it back in and it wont do anything

There is a protective device that cannot be reset called "oven temp/flame sensor" it is inside the cover and should have a resistance of a couple of ohms or so. If it's open circuit then you have found the problem. Replace it and away you go....

Wont work

Don't know this particular model, but it sounds like you are just pressing the time buttons for cooking and not actually setting the time clock which is what it's asking for. Are you following the instructions for setting time as detailed in your instruction book?

Ge spacemaker runs but wont heat

Hi, there are three issues that will cause a no heat situation in a microwave. these issue are a failed Magnetron, busted cut-off fuse and, failed diode.

I recommend checking all these area that are located inside the microwave for faults.

The most common issue will be a failed Magnetron.

The diode and, fuse will be located on the noise filter assembly.

Makes load noise and wont heat anything

I would first suspect a shorted high voltage rectifier diode or possibly a defective magnetron.

If the noise is just a loud buzz, I would suspect the diode. If it has more of a hollow sound - like someone gurgling into a coffee cup - then I would suspect the magnetron.

Here are some links you or a friend can use for test help, but PLEASE read their safety warnings first:
