Yesterday I changed both the black and the color cartridges. Before that the printer was working fine. Now it will copy from the printer, but it won't print from the computer. I have checked everything the "Troubleshooter" suggested, but it still doesn't work. Please help me!

Have you tried setting the color to black cartridge only. You may be printing the black with a combination of colored inks. I occasionally have a similar problem. Sometimes I can get the black to work by taking a paper towel dampened with distilled water and holding it against the cartridge print head until I see black ink coming out. Replace the cartridge and try printing again. If this doesn't work try a new cartridge and run through your Printer Settings, making sure they are all set properly.
Go to Google Maps, select one and print it out. Does black work then? (On mine it does)
If you try to print an e-mail with both color and black fonts, are the black ones missing from the print? (On mine, the black letters are missing)
How about a scan which contains both color and black features? (Again, both black and color works for me)
And finally, if you scan an all-black font document after hitting "copy...black", you get nothing....but do the same thing after selecting "copy...color"...and it'll print the black.
I'm sorry I haven't found the answer as yet, but maybe if you try some of these little experiments I did this morning, then it'll catch someone's eye and we'll both have a solution (which may cost more than a new printer!
My printer does the same thing. I changed the blank ink yesterday (the printer shows the black ink was low) however after trying and trying and not being able to complete the alignment I decided to change the color ink as well. It worked. Printer works fine now. Sometimes the ink dries up and you have to change it even though you know it should last longer. Give it a try and let me know. email@example.com
