Need to transfer from email to a computer file dell 8400 seres xp hone edition verson 2002

it is a windows 98 game and might not work on xp. I have had that same problem with some of the older games. so you might want to find a updated verson so it will work on xp.but I did not find a new verson but that does not mean there is not one.

You maybe need to unzip the file before you install.

Here is only drivers for win xp.

You can`t download a setup disk but you can call dell support
to order the software from them (if they still have it) by the service tag.

if you call dell they will send you the original disc or restore back to another point

It will be easier if you will have it checked with any computer technician. They will normally charge a very minimal fee for this very common kind of problem.

Be sure to be there when he checked your computer, so he can also teach you about it.

The diags code was a failed response from the floppy drive. Most system didn't ship with one.

Boot to the XP CD, go to recovery console, run bootcfg /rebuild

Use a USB Memory Stick. Transferring via LAN is not a bad idea too.(Do not forget to use a cross cable)

I've done over 100 bios upgrades / flashes / etc and not once have I ever had any need to restore a backed up bios.

Have you added or changed your computer's hardware since you purchased your computer? Your Dell reinstallation disk will probably only work for the original configuration of your machine. If this is the case, dust off your old parts, remove your newer parts, then reinstall your old ones to get your system back to its original configuration. Once there, try the reinstallation again.
If this does not apply to you (or you can't get it to work), you can always purchase the operating system new (from newegg, tigerdirect or similar) and install from a disk that will have all of the drivers you need. OEM versions are cheapest, but you are on your own for support in the event of a problem. I hope this helps.

all u do is make your new hard drive the master by setting the correct jumper for it the manual will tell u more. then make the old drive a slave. install yr opreating system it should be installed in drive c: thats the master when done, u do yr normal copy and paste to transfer your files from old drive to new drive.
