Eltron P210i printhead replacement and aligment

I changed the printhead but I hae this white space all in the top f the card and don't know how to align. In all series I had a PTOOL software from ZEBRA which help me to calibrate sensors and determine if it was a software or technical problem. I do not find any technical manual or reference about this. Can you help me?

Usually with Eltron and Zebra printers all you have to do is turn the power off, change the print head, turn the power back on and re run your software to get the forms to reload. If you miss any of these steps you will run into trouble.

As long as the labels didn't get moved, it should work once you restart your computer and re run the software you print your labels with.

There are long axis print voids. Does the print head need to be replaced?

Before replacing your printhead, try cleaning the printer, run the cleaning card and also clean the printhead using the alcohol saturated swab, zebra part number 105909-169. In some cases that will fix your issue, if not your printhead needs to be replaced. If replacing your printhead, please make sure your card stock are clean and don't have sharp edges as that could be the cause for a scratched/burned pixel on the printhead.

I change the color ink an now it keep saying i have a aligment problems an its not the paper an when i aligment it the black ink dont show up on the paper

Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Printer not printer well

Check if ribbon is placed correctly, a lot of cheap pvc cards are low quality and have distortion on the faces, you can check them by seeing reflection light al the sides, if misprinted area have a constant pattern the check rollers, if lines appear in the printed cards in the same place a long the card then the printhead is damaged.

Ribbon Breakage

You can try to lower printhead setting values (color and black), if not resolved then try another ribbon, old ones trend to fail this way.
