Analog Mitsubishi Rear Projection Television technology from 1986?
Most repair technicians would refer you to a museum for an archaeologist.

Here's a site from which one can request pricing:

Here's a Mitsubishi VS-508R service manual (a photocopy for $25):

Here's another xerox copy for $25:

Aside from an expensive old manual, find a handy/electronics friend, have them take the back off the set, and hunt around for something burnt in the power supply, or even a blown fuse (or both). There's not a technician alive that'll need a manual to find a blown fuse.
Back in 1986, they would have used a good old Buss fuse - probably in a fuse holder, but perhaps soldered directly to a discrete component laden PC board.

Here's a way-too-large photo of a Buss fuse (actual size is about 1 inch (2.54cm). From the intact filament in the photo, you can tell that the fuse in the photograph is still good (un-blown).
The condition of fuses can be checked with (a) continuity checker, (b) DMM (Digital MultiMeter), or (c) VOM (Volt OhmMeter). But the fuse must be withdrawn from the circuit before testing with any of the above 3 categories of meters.

Fig 1. Buss Fuse - fuse specs are engraved on the end (barely visible in this photo)

Replace a blown fuse with a fuse with identical specs.
Replacement fuses are available at Radio Shack:

43FDX15B No picture, Power light stays on

Just a thought, but check all of the pico fuses for a blown fuse. The pico fuses look like a small yellow resistor. Some Hitachi's are famous for having a blown hi-volt ceramic capacitor and a blown pico fuse.
I think the red led on is a short protect indicator, but I could be mistaken.

Trying to fix fuse on convergence problem

nice obsrervation! lead free solder this half circle is it directly under the big black componet with the red wire. i not familer with the notation cad. but the circle is charteristic of flyback. This is the common point that cause the fl231 fuse to blow.i would suggest removing the solder with a ****** or wick the clean and reappy solder when you replace fuse. always look around for bad connections like this. lead free is really become a problem with rca

Panasonic TH-42PX600U plasma TV. No power at all. Where is the fuse (if any)?

I'm having the exact same problem. My Panasonic 42 inch TH-42PX60U just turned off while I was watching TV. I removed the fuses (both were blown) and replaced them and am now getting the red light that blinks ten times.

What should I do now???

RCA R52WH74 (ITC222A Chassis)

no the board that has the FL231 on is the ITC222 deflection board. The other board is above the chassis in a seperate frame that runs across the set the convergence power supply is the board on the left above the board where the fL231 is. Yes the ITC222 and ITC222A are the same chassis. As for the service manual that site should have the service manual under the thomson category as the ITC 222 chassis is actually a thomson chassis made for RCA.

Check the 5 volt pico fuses on the center board. F9A05 is most likley open. This would indicate bad convergence amps. The two Convergence amps and fuse should be replaced.

I thought there should be are 5 green LED's and one RED one. All of them should be on if the TV is working properly.
There are PICO fuses that blow when a circuit is not working and the assosiated LED will not lite. If a LED is missing it means there is a problem in the circuit and should be fixed prior to replacing the PICO fuse.
A common problem is with CONVERGENCE IC's that go bad. Your set has a MAGIC FOCUS FEATURE that when pressed on the front panel of the TV could be quite entertaining for a youngster. Pressed repeatly
might damage the circuit. The inside LED, lit or not, would point you in this direction.
If you decide to investigate by taking the back off be warned that there are voltages that may cause injury. I would suggest calling a serviceman to determine why your set will not power up and display a picture.
