The best solution would be to go on ebay. if you have the old charger search for the model number on it. if not just search the model of shaver and add the word charger to your search

The level selector light changes but not the levels. The brush stays on with the selector set on bare. What's the problem?

Make model? Maybe jammed make sure no hair is wrapped around the brushes by removing them (look up your model online I'm almost sure there is a how to video on YouTube) and clean it of all tightly twisted hair usually found where the brushes don't exist but on outer edges where you can't see between the plastic side of the vacuum and the brush roller (looks like rolling pin) where the bolt is that the brush spins on...hope that helps

Loud noise with belt protection system On

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC14. The knob you're describing is the brush control, which turns the brushbar on when set to 'Carpets', and off when set to 'Hard floors'. The machine may not pick up hair from carpets if you have it set to 'Hard Floors'.

The brush control system is also designed to make a ratcheting sound to warn you if something is jamming the brushbar. The easiest way to check for and remove any obstructions is to follow the steps shown in our online support guide:

http://www.dyson.com/support/help.asp?article=668&product=DC14-ALLFLOORS_US

Once you've removed any threads, hair and other obstructions from around the brushbar and cleaner head, you should find this resolves the issue. However, if you've tried this and are still concerned, please get in touch with us directly so we can help. You can call us free on 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US).

Kind regards,

Jack

A few seconds after I turn my DC33 on it makes a very loud, shrill whistling / whining sound. I emptied the canister and cleaned all of the hair / threads from the brush roller and it didn't improve. ...

Hi Elizabeth,

I'm sorry to hear about this. If you give our Helpline a call, we should be able to identify the cause of the whistling over the phone, and help you resolve it - you can call us free on 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US). We'll look forward to hearing from you.

I am charging Remington Shaver FS360 for the first time I have put in charge for almost 12 hrs (the instruction is to charge it for 24 hrs at the first time) but still the charge led is not glwoing. I am...

Wait the full 24 hours then try using the shaver. If it functions normally, then I would say only the charger light is not working. If the shaver runs down before the end of the 2nd shave, then you may have a defective charger and/or shaver. In that case, take it back where you bought it for a replacement.
