I have a campbell hausfeld dk171600av paint sprayer. I bought it new along with repair/rebuild kit. I never used the unit, however a son did and used it several times. When I went to use the unit this week it did not work; manual and repair/rebuild parts were not anywhere to be found. I need to know where I can get a manual and if it's worth rebuilding the unit.

I checked all around the unit and found the model number has been destroyed by cleaning chemicals dripped on the side of the unit. I cleaned the rest of the plate and found the name of the unit is "PaintPro Contractor with the number DK171600AV below the name". Does this help in any way?

This unit looks something similar, much more closer than the HP3000, however, is not a match. A web sitehttp://gunsafe.used-furniture-sale.net shows the exact unit and was searched using the DK171600AV number. It states it's a 1 hp, 3000 psi, .44 gpm, however its a new one they want to sell.

Hi,
The "DK" number you found is just a decal number...no help...

Does your sprayer look something like this???

http://www.paintpro.net/Articles/PP603/PP603_ProductNews-Campbell.cfm

You may be able to go to the Campbell Hausfield website and match something uo through pictures or even on the site that I gave you here...

Once you can narrow down the model number, you can get any of the manuals here...

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly
I searched for this model number at CH: dk171600av I also searched for parts information without success via several sites. Is the model number you passed correct? It certainly is not crossing to anything at this time. Even an e-bay search did not reveal any used like items. Let me know if the model number is incorrect. Just a note that if you do find a good model number you can parts search here:
http://www.ereplacementparts.com/search_result.php Link initially will show an error... just enter your model number after the page loads.

Paint sprayer won't pump

Ok, go to campbel hausfeld web site and download a manual for your sprayer : http://www.chpower.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/XManuals?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10001
Find your model number and look at parts view. Pay paticular attention to the inlet and outet valves. They must be absolutely clean to function. These pumps must be thoroughly cleaned when finished.

My Pro Contractor Paint Sprayer will not prime. Cam

be sure to push both valves with your finger to ensure they are not stuck. If they are not remove the large inlet valve and inspect the diaphram. If it is bulged out then that is your problem
