Question about SanDisk Sansa m250 MP3 Player

Roommate's sansa mp3 player

My roommate has a sansa mp3 player, formatted for pc. None of us have pc's however, we only have Macs. Her mp3 player won't mount when I plug it in, and I'd like to reformat it for Mac, but it won't show up. Any suggestions?

Hi, I unplugged my sansa by accident while it was formatting. Now it says there is no free space left in it but .. it has nothing on it at the same time. and it doesn't show up in my computer as a sansa...

try formatting the h drive and see if it works... if that doesnt work, download sansa updater from here http://mp3support.sandisk.com/sansa/Installer/1083/SansaUpdaterInstall.exe run the updater while your player is connected to pc and it should download the appropriate firmware

How do i fix it

My roommate had that problem, it ended up being the usb cord, but if its not you may want to try reinstalling the sansa drivers without it being pluged in. here's a link http://www.sansa.com/support. always try to get your drivers from a manufacture, some other sources may leave u a risk for a trojen
