Question about HP LaserJet 1022n Printer
The Printer keeps indicating that the Front cover door is open or the cartridge is missing
I had exactky the same issue. The problem is not with the front door or the cartridge. I solved this as there was a very small paperjam. If you take out all the paper and shine a torch into the printer you may find a small piece of paper stuck on the sensor that is causing the problem

The first time I got this signal, I shook the ink cartridge and fiddled with the cover. No luck. I took the paper tray out and slid it in again. Apparently the roller tried to pick up two sheets of paper instead of one, which bent the papers as though they'd been treated with a curling iron. After reading the items above, I took the paper tray out. That's when I found the bent papers. Problem solved.
