some one already has had your problem. exact same problem.

    failed Error code = 0xf0000014

    1. do restore the system to factory settings

    2. options were drive needs to be FAT32

    3. use eRecovery system as a alternate option.
many of the forums and web pages indicating this problem wont be in English. but those are the three important options.

    thank you

This can be either a problem with one of the RAM module, a Windows problem, or a problem with a different device.
Quickest thing to do is testing RAM, either you use a replacement RAM module, or if your computer has two modules you remove one of them at the time to test it.

When I try to create a system restore point it comes up with error 0xf0000014 and does not allow me to create the restore point

I suspect a running program is stopping your restore point being made. Go into task manager and stop all unecessary processes and try again. Should work now. Also its possible that your antivirus is causing the trouble so kill that too.

Good luck

A hard drive is reporting a SMART event

If your hard drive has reported a smart event then it will probably fail soon. The smart status is normally related to the health of the hard drive when there is a problem the SMART status will notify you. The best option is to backup everything and have an extra hard drive on hand to replace it when it does fail.

Acer 5050 keep getting error 0200 and says operating system

Hi, error 0200 it's just a generic code which the people from Acer dont even know. It's defenitely has something to do with the hard drive. I suggest you remove it (it's easy) and connect it to another computer and backup your data. That code could mean a "deleted partition" or Master Boot Record failure (software related) or something inside your hard drive (hardware related) so first do a backup like it told you and then try reinstalling the OS. If you still have the problem download some software on the internet such as mhdd which can test the hard drive to make sure but please backup as soon as you can. Dont try to use "chkdsk" or any tools BEFORE you backup because they stress the hard drive and can make things really difficult later to backup. They might even damage the hard drive. I hope this helps.
