Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
I'm having the same boot up problem with my dv9010us for the second time this year, I'm reading the "wraping" solution and I wonder if it heats up the laptop a little bit and it helps to boot up the system.
Please, let me know if I'm gettin g the right idea from your post.

I understand that your Notebook is not booting into windows.
To isolate the issue please try to boot the Notebook in Safemode.
Restart the Notebook and keep pressing F8 key and select Safe mode to boot.
Please try to perform the following steps also
= Power Drain =
1. Disconnect the AC Adapter.
2. Remove the Battery.
3. Hold the Power button down for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
4. Reconnect the AC adapter and Battery.
5. Turn on the Notebook power.
If your Notebook is booting into Safemode. Then try to restore the Notebook to factory settings. Before restoring the Notebook backup your data.
I hope this will work.
