If you have tried new cables and you still can't get it to work then you GPU is messing up. You will need to pull the Xbox apart and replace the xclamps on the GPU and CPU with machine screw. Also replace the silver compound. This will solve your problem. I own an xbox 360 repairs shop and would be more than happy to help you. Email me at gamerguy@ctp360repairsandsales.com. You can visit my website at www.ctp360repairsandsales.com. Hope this helps.

The first thing you need to do is make sure the cables arent set to hd if your using the standerd red white and yellow jacks if that dosent work it could mean your jacks have some kind of short so i would sugesst buyyin a new set or contacting microsoft at 1-800-4MY-XBOX

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My xbox 360 suddenly wont show a picture or sound but still turns on

If your Xbox 360 does not have display you need to stop the heat getting to the chips. You can actually do this yourself as many have in this forum using the recommended Xbox 360 Repair guide.

Basically the guide will show you how to stop the heat build up with videos and household items, of course if you are in doubt send it in.

It has a preview video on the website.

Or of course you can send it in to have it fixed.

Won't show the picture or sound

Here's one possiblility.

There should be a switch on the x box cable that goes from High definition output to analog.

Try changing the swith setting.
