Question about Belkin (F5D9230-4) Wireless Router (F5D92304)
Hi I have a virgin media broadband supply, and they sent a modem and router. I bought a belkin USB wireless device to pick up the wireless on my laptop. All the other laptops in our house connect directly to the network and it works fine, as does my laptop if I use a cable from the modem. But the wireless USB device says its connected to the network and that the strength is excellent, however when I load any internet page it says 'cannot find server'. When I tried to 'repair' the problem, it told me that it could not 'renew my IP address'. Please help!
If you are connected straight from the modem, your router will not have internet access, only if your modem is connected to the router you will be able to go online wireless. connect your modem to the router nad router to the desktop, so that you can access both wired and wireless connection
