Make sure the workgroup name matches for all your computers. The other computers are probably set to mshome and the acer to workgroup.

Depending on your operating system, there should be a stack of curved bars.* Click on that, then click on an available network.*

How to hook up a hard drive from one computer to another

You need to connect the computer together in a network and then share the hard drive and or folders between eash computer.
FILE SHARING BETWEEN COMPUTERS ON A NETWORKBasicallyif you have a router with several laptops and desktop PCs, which can access theInternet at the same time, then you have working network with the laptopand PC.First makesure the laptop and PC have the same Workgroup name(it may already have Workgroup as the Workgroup name, you can change it if you wish). To changethe Workgroup name open Control Panel - System -click on Computer Name tab - click Change and you can change the Computername then select Workgroup and enter orchange the Workgroup name - click OK and OKagain.Nextenable Sharing on both the PC and laptop open My Computer - right click onthe C Drive - click on Sharing tab - tick Sharing this folder on thenetwork - add a Share name to identify the computer/folder (eg Cdrive on PC).If you donot enable sharing on the drives or folders then they will not be available tothe computers on the network. If you havemore drives, then repeat this for the other hard drive and or CD or DVDdrives.Re-boot thecomputers and you will be able to see the computers on your network through MyNetwork Places.

Your modem in your computer is the 56K (telephone not broadband)
For your Local Area Network you want the network drivers. It will not harm anything if you download drivers for the modem or network because when you set up your local network it will internally switch of the modem and use the network.
Do the Broadcom -LAN and the Conexant -Modem

How to i configure my system Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO to allow a home network to see all the PC on the netwrok plus my Network Storage. My internet conection works fine?

For each of your computers, right click on 'My Computer' then click on 'Properties'.

Under the 'Computer Name' tab, make sure each of your computers are members of the same workgroup ID. Just make a name up and use it for all of your computers.

The information that you want to be shared between your network computers should be placed in the 'shared' folder.

After doing this, make sure all of your computers are running and that they each have a working internet connection.

Go to My Network Places, click on view workgroup computers.
You should be able to see all of the computers in your network.

As far as configuring the router goes, if you haven't changed the settings in the past, Nothing should have to be altered in order to view other computers on your network.
