Question about Olympus Digital Cameras

When I take photos with my Olympus D-435 I get black horizontal lines on the screen which then come out on the photos.

This is CCD failure- If it is less than a year old it will ber replasced.
It may even be replaced if older- if it is a known fault

    CCD is the device that captures the image.
    Now you know but it matters not - it is still a problem for Olympus to fix

White screen


This is a problem with shutter not fast enough opening to take a picture indoor shows the horizontal lines. In sun light it is too slow and over expose the picture. Not worth the trouble to fix, buy another camera?

Photos are not clear and has lines


I have the same problem with my camera. Olympus tech says the lens needs to be replaced at $185+ and it's 18 months old with little use. Not happy, not worth it. Don't buy this camera.

The problem you are describing is a problem with one of the chips in the camera that controls image processing. It seems to have failed and needs to be replaced. Following are the instructions to send your camera to Olympus for service.

There is a delay on my olympus d 435 when pressing for photo of about 2 seconds and am not getting the moment I wanted


thats normal. it allows lens to focus. if you push it hard it'll take, but push it gently, it'll only chang and focus more

Lines through photos


This is a mainboard processor problem It is a maker repair or replacement situation depending upon the age of the camera - contact Olympus support Be prepared to buy a new camera however if they want money for a repair.
