where it says choose the "OS" it does not have Vista....only '98,XP,2000,MAC.....etc etc....i need for Vista.....or will one of these work in my Vista???

NOTE: If Vista does not appear in the Choose OS Drop Down Menu, the device you have is not currently compatible with Vista. Please revisit the Logitech downloads page frequently for updates and check the system requirements on your device packaging to make sure your device is Windows supported.

Try www.logitec.com when I did this it took me to somewere else but just click on go to logitec, in the search field in the upper right hand corner type in "drivers" click on "downloads" on the next page, then search for your product name, shuld get the drivers you need. good luck hope this helps.
have you to tryed the settings in win live messenger its self as well as keeping the logitech startups untouched sorry if this does help but anything suggestion is better then nout
Seems not a problem of your camera as the image it records of you is transmitted clearly to the folks you call. Maybe those people should get the same camera you use.
Or it their/your internet connection upload/download speed
Or it is skype - i use skype, but some of my friends move to MSN as they say it supports better quality experience of video chats
