We have got a HP TouchSmart 9100 brand new computer. when i tried to install Canon F149200 printer's software, computer told me Windows 7 is not compatible with the printer.

Thats true it isnt but you can try to go to the icon then left click go to properties then go to compatability and choose run this in compatibility mode for WINDOWS XP...good luck.

find driver down load for model f149200
check that the download is for your operating system (XP, WIN 7 WIN 10 etc) download and run
Sounds like maybe your hard drive or your copy of Win7 might be going bad. Verify the hard drive with the diagnostics available from the boot menu (f12, I believe). If it's bad, you'll want to replace it.

you can try to upgrade your software to a newer version, try to ask the software provider, normally it is writed in the field About under the Help menu.
I have just come off the phone to canon and they advised me that they have and will not have for some time any drivers for any Canon product that is running with Windows 7, which i think sucks... a huge company such as Canon and they are wayyy behind on technoligy, i told them i have installed Windows 7 and they told me im better off going back to XP which i will do, i was also informed that they are expecting Microsoft to release the driver for my MP600 to run on Vista 64 bit. omg that is old now and who wants a 64 bit pc anyway lol more trouble than they are worth but i guess Canon will eventually have the drivers i need one day but they are very much on the back seat at the moment.
Uninstall any software that you may already have install for the Canon by going to ' add & remove programs ', uninstall your canon printer by going to ' printers & faxes, disconnect your Canon printer from your computer.
Reboot your computer.
Install the Canon printer software that you downloaded.
Hook up your Canon printer to your computer.
The software should install automatically. If not, re-install the software you downloaded.
