I took the shift assembly apart. The switches weren't set in right. Once I put them in the shifter lined up and it works fine

Gator will only drive in reverse

I would replace the reverse switch as seen in here http://www.shopjandl.com/mepu0003.html and also the high low switch for this peg perego gator.
Sometimes the high/low switch will cause it to not go in reverse, so I would replace both switches in the shifter just to make sure.
They are really easy to replace. You can call these guys http://www.shopjandl.com/.
They know what they are talking about because they sell and repair them.

John Deer Gator only drives in low gear.

Sometimes the levers go bad in the shifter, but I would first check the shifter to make sure the switches are engaging. You should also check the wiring on the motors in the rear. Sometimes they come loose and if they are not making a good contact the gator will not go in proper speeds.
You can get great help at http://www.shopjandl.com/mepu0002.html.
They have a toll free number and are very helpfull because the repair them as well.

Washer doesn't engage the drum

a ratcheting sound generally indicates some object (wire of sorts) tried going down drain but cant make it out but motor not turning drum over is something else, to check drain remove lower cover and open pump cleanout also feel the rubber hose from bottom of tub to pump to see if a object is in it. take hose off pump to clean out hose. if this is older duet check nut on rear pulley and tighten..

Peg Perego John Deere Gator not working at all

It sounds like you need a pedal switch or it has a loose connection in the wires. It is a specific Peg Perego Switch that will fit under the foot pedal. I have a gator that was doing the same thing so i replaced the shifter switches and the foot pedal switch, but I bet you could start with just the foot pedal switch.
I bought mine at this website http://www.shopjandl.com/kids---baby-ride-on-toys-peg-perego.html but you could also call them as well.
Hope this helps

Peg Perego Gator Ride On Toy

Sounds like the gears are stripped. If a bunch of teeth are missing, only the high speed gear will spin the gears fast enough to move the gator forward. I just bought a used one and found it pretty easy to tear apart and diagnose as similar issue. The gear boxes, located inboard of each wheel contain plastic gears and strip relatively easy if the shifter is moved , during motion from forward to reverse.
