Sounds like a convergence issue. Check the site www.TvRepairKits.com to see if they have the parts for your TV.

Projection HDTV Pansonic 47" Curving blue and green colors on top and bottom of screen.

You will need to replace your two convergence I.C.s.They are two large IC mounted on a large aluminum heat sink.Replace both, look for any burned resistors near them, replace those if needed, and readjust your convergence. Good Luck

Convergence panasonic HDTV 1080i bbe hi definition

The most likely cause is shorted convergence chips and possibly a few pico fuses.

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony,Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.
You can get a convergenece repair kit with instructions from the links below.

Here are some of the most common problems with these sets...

Problem #1) Convergence

Yours may have one or more of the following symptoms...

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound

Problem #2
Another common problem is dull or washed out video.

Your set may have one or more of the following symptoms....

*Dull looking picture
*White looking picture
*Halos around objects
*Red/Orange looking picture

You can see some more examples and find a fix herebb0cf99.pnghttp://www.fixya.com/support/r2861467-solution_video_looking_whiteish_dull

I have a Panasonic HDTV 1080i, We started to experience a yellow and blue arc at the bottom of the screen about a month ago. Last night the picture went black. Only the sound is left. What happened?

The convergence IC's are definitely bad. This is a big repair involving taking out the main board and soldering in two new IC's. They are not plug-in components and you would need a professional to do this job.

Blue lines appeared near lower half of screen

Hello... This sounds like a convergence issue, but I didn't think they made rear-projection TVs as recently as 2013? Also, your post says you have a 32"? If it's a 32", then ignore the following.

If it is a convergence issue, parts will need to be replaced. There are usually two STK ICs and maybe some resistors that can go bad.

I hope this helps!
