Do you have it on hidden mode? worst comes to worst do a hard reset (push the little button in the back for 10 seconds) then do a search for your router. if it works then it was just your settings otherwise your wii doesn't like your router :( i've got the belkin wireless N and its fabulous. good luck

Trying to connect to internet getting error 52232

The info listed below is from Nintendo's official web site.

Error Code: 52232 There appears to be an issue with your wireless router's firewall.

  1. It is possible that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is not compatible with the Wii console. For instance, if you need to login with a user name and password when you try to go online for the first time after restrarting your PC, your ISP is likely not compatible. Please contact your service provider for more information.

  2. If this error occurs regularly, while you are playing at home, it is likely a connection problem related to your firewall settings. For more information on firewalls, click here.

  3. Are you using a Netgear brand wireless router? Our expeirence shows disabling the "SPI Firewall" of the router may help the connection. The "SPI Firewall" option is typically found under the "WAN Setup" tab of the router's settings. For information on accessing your router's settings, please click here and select the model of the Netgear router you own (if available).

I hope the info listed above has helped in some way.
If possible please rate this solution.

Nintendo ds + wii+ wireless router help

On the router do you have a password? If you have a password on the Router along with the router name then in the setting setup for the Wii you will need to go into the network setup and configure the settings just as you have them on the router. For Example: If the router name is netgear and the password is abc123456789 then in the setting for the Wii you need to put in netgear and the password abc123456789
