Question about Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO (F5D9230-4) Router (1010835)
I want to set up a wireless network so that I can use my laptop wirelessly. I have installed a Belkin Router to my PC and installed the software for a Bluenext USB adaptor - successfully - I think. The signal is showing as excellent but I cannot connect to the internet and keep getting a message "acquiring network address" - this message is haning there permanently. I also note that encryption is "disabled".
I wonder if you can help me in simple terms as I am on a very steep learning curve here!
Thanks in advance for your help.
The belkin router gets the wire from the dsl/modem in the seperate jack port in the back then punch into the address bar on a explorer window
192.168.1.2 and make sure you have it set to unsecure network, you can fiddle with the password system later on securing the network.
