I got the microsd card locked

Hi,

Kingston does not distribute flash media with password protection. This password protection is a feature offered by most cell phones. To regain access, use the Lock Code assigned to the cell phone which your are using.

thanx

Sd card not recognizable

I read the following spec for your camera: Recording Media Internal Flash Memory 64MB Video/Image
SD/SDHC Up To 32GB Video/Image
So, I think that an 8 GB SD card should work.

Try another capacity and brand to make it work.

My computer can read the Lexar 1GB SD. But Kodak wont.

I suggest formatting the card using the utility in the camera. This will delete any data that is currently on the card.

Battery for ViviCam 7388s

If you want to store more pictures on your 1 GB card you will have to set the camera to take lower resolution pictures. The only reason you need high resolution pictures is if you plan on blowing them up to huge prints. If you are just looking to save standard 4X6 inch pictures 800X600 is plenty of resolution and it will hold a ton of them. If you want to get a bigger SD card the largest you can go with this camera is 2 GB. Any higher is labeled SDHC or High Capacity. This model is not rated for high capacity chips so do not buy one. A 2 GB SD will double the number of pictures you can take and If you select a lower resolution like 800X600 You will be able to take hundreds of pictures. As far as your battery life goes you have to turn off the camera when it it not in use. After reading up on this device I have read that is not that great when it comes to battery power. But for an inexpensive camera it takes wonderful pictures. If you do want to take a special photo that you plan to print out 8 1/2 X 11 then take those pictures in Highest resolution. But for your regular everyday pics choose the lower setting. Experiment until you find the settings that work the best for the different things you are trying to do. PS. You should go buy a 2GB SD card You will still be able to use your 1GB too for extra storage. Don't buy any larger than 2GB, remember the High Capacity rule. Let me know if you need anything else
