The thermostat in the fridge is turning off your compressor before the freezer has completed its job.this is because it doesnt care about the freezer temperature only the temperature where its located in this case the fridge, try completely defrosting the fridge and restarting it

I have a Beko frost free fridge freezer kept in a garage that has all of a sudden just stopped working. I noticed that the bread I'd put in the freezer hadn't frozen and then noticed that the fan had...

If the fan has failed or intermittent, the freezer wont freeze the food properly but usually you get a mountain of ice build up at the back of the freezer. This ice jams and stops the fan from turning. Alternatively, there could be a defrost problem. Unless it is a fully electronic defrost machine, there is usually a little timer on the back of the fridge to force a defrost after a certain time. The fridge will turn off, the defrost heater operates to melt the ice and then usually with 20 to 45 minutes, the defrost timer will "click" back on and start the fridge running again. If the timer is sticking, the fridge may stay on its defrost cycle and never start again, thus, it doesn't get cold. If you find the defrost timer, have a close look for a little shaft or slotted screw type stud sticking out of the middle of it. A slight turn of this and you should hear it clicking around. When you hear a loud click, that is either the start or end of the defrost cycle. If you have a full electronic defrost system, it may be a failed board, heater, thermostat or defrost safety fuse.

My beko frost free fridge freezer is not getting cold at all-the motors running, the fan is on,the light is on but theres no cold.???any ideas.

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
Check to see that the freezer fan is running.

If your fridge has dual controls, be sure the freezer control has not been turned up too far.

Check the freezer section for signs of frost on the walls, particularly on the rear and floor panels. Frost would indicate a defrost failure.

Check the condenser coils in back for dust & debris and see that fan is running there.

Be sure that food items do not block air intakes in freezer. A stuffed freezer can create airflow problems.

My freezer (upper) works but my fridge (lower) doesn't. There's nothing clogging the vent. What could be the problem? Thank u!

My fridge is running but not cold enough: Start out with the easy stuff first...make sure the lights go out when you close the door(s), make sure the doors are closing properly and the gaskets are closing fully and are not torn or ripped. Check to make sure the evaporator fan in the freezer is working, this fan blows the cold air around. If the fan is not working, possible bad fan motor - check for power to the f

The most common fridge "not cooling" problem is a frost free failure. Remove the access panel in the freezer section to expose the evaporator coils. If the coils in the freezer section get plugged up with frost, this frost will block the evaporator fan motor from blowing the cold air around. The fan blade can also hit this frost and either become noisy or stop altogether. Locating the defrost timer can be tricky....they are often hidden behind the back bottom corners of the fridge at the bottom, in the last few years the timers have been located in the ceiling of the fresh food section, and some are behind the cold control cover. Once you locate the defrost timer, slowly turn the screw likeknob in the middle of the defrost timer with a straight screwdriver until the fridge shuts off. You are now in defrost. If the defrost heater (s) comes on now, replace the defrost timer and defrost thermostat. If the heater(s) does not come on, you can continuity test the defrost heater for continuity or test for 120 volts to the heater(s). If you have no power to the defrost heater (s) you can also bypass the defrost thermostat to see if the defrost heater will come on, jumper the wires together to bypass the defrost thermostat. If the heater now comes on, replace the defrost timer and defrost thermostat. If the heater itself is bad, defrost the fridge with a hair dryer, replace the defrost heater (s) and defrost thermostat. If the defrost timer seems "hot" to the touch or is noisy ( like a ticking or screeching noise )...replace it.

My frost free fridge freezer has stopped working(beko) the fan inside the freezer is consyantly on the food in the freezer has defrosted and the element at the back is usually hot and now its cold

Please checck to see if your thermostat lines are in order or if some of the connecting wires are damaged bby frost. First of all switch off the fridge and allow all frost to clear. then check for the fan circuit, the auto defrost timer circuit. Now after few hours switch on the fridge. Check to see if the compressor is running the back side is getting warm and the freezer is cooling. If not check if the compressor is pumping well or being short of gas-- get help -. If not the timer could be the culprit as after the cooling takes place the fridge does not defrost. Check this out and the fault is confirmed if your fridge works fine now. Hope you try. Good day

Top of freezer not freezing, bottom of fridge is?

Could be the evaporator fan motor is not working. This is what circulates the air from the freezer to the refrigerator section.

Freezer cold but not fridge

too much ice bulid up will stop enough cold air being blown into the fridge.Try turning it off letting all ice melt then turn it back on again and set thermostat at a lower temp. There may be ice you can't see.

Fridge wont stay cold in the bottom.

Your frost free is not defrosting properly. There should be no ice buildup in the freezer section. Frost in the freezer section stops air circulation to the refrigerator section.
