Your monitor does not have composite/component inputs. You can however use a composite-to-VGA converter. Kworld makes some great converter products. Here's one...

32 Inch rca lcd dvd combo has no sound?

Try vith headphones or audio out on the scart .
Try with audio standard in menu options.
try with signal on scart or hdmi input with other source of signal like dvd or cabel recivers.
If there are no sound after this you have to check-replace the audio section in your tv.

Plasma tv connections

What you need is a device called a multi-switch. Here's a page which details some of the switches available with different satellite setups. You would hook up your sat recievers, your TV and your recorder up to the multiswitch:

Why my Pc monitor showing Input not supported?

There are several inputs that a monitor can handle depending if it's capable of doing so. For example, just like TV, if you want to watch a DVD, you have to change the input to Video and going back to TV, just choose TV input. The same way for computer monitors. If the monitor supports VGA, DVI, HDMI and others, you have to select the right input depending of the type of Video cable connected from your tower to the monitor. If you it is connected via VGA, choose VGA input. If the cable is HDMI, select HDMI. That will let your monitor switch from one input to the other..

Hope that works for you. -
I'll appreciate the feedback and the thumbs up.
Thanks.

Want to connect dvd player

Generally, since no models are provided, a digital audio connection is best if you want to hear true multichannel sound. The reciver will need to be 'told' what input is represented by whatever digital connector you plug it to.

Generally, the video from the DVD would be best presented to the TV or Monitor directly via the best vidio interface: HDMI, DVI, component video look about the same on HDTV.

I need assistance in connecting my DVC845E (VHS & DVD recorder) to my Samsung TV. A VHS will play but cannot get it to record.

Some of the Newer VHS/DVD units don't have cable inputs. If this is like yours you can hook a RCA Audio/Vidio cable from your Samsung TV Vidio/Audio outputs (if set has them) to VCR/DVD inputs................... Larry

I have just purchased a Toshiba Integrated Digital LCD TV and I can't seem to run my DVD and Video player through the TV. I'm probably not connecting it right, but don't know what else to try. Thanks for...

The DVD and video player have HDMI. Component, S-Video and RCA audio/video output connections that need to be connected to the appropriate inputs on your TV. You select the type of connector and cable to use.

HDMI provides the best quality, if available and works for both audio and video.

The TV's, DVD's and video player's manuals describe how in detail. Look at the connection instructions and diagrams. You then must select the correct input on the TV to play each source.
