After being deluged with spam to my website email addresses and Horde not doing a great job of dealing with it I opened a gmail account. I didn't change any of my email addresses I just put them on redirect to gmail. This doesn't stop the spam but gmail has such excellent filters that it is all redirected to a seperate spam inbox and slowly as the filters get betterr (and they do) the volume of spam is markedly reduced.
I have gone from several hundred spam emails a day to about twenty a day.
If you want a gmail invite let me know and I will send you one.

Block unwanted email

It depends on your mail program, you can set up Junk or Spam mail filters to ban groups or individual mail addresses.
How you do it and whether it is automatic depends on your mail program.
Some like Outlook online will filter out the mail and put it in a junk mail folder for you, rather than in your inbox, but it does not stop you receiving the mail. You have to decide whether to delete it yourself.

I am not receiving some emails. I have contacted "3" my mobile broadband supplier who suggested that I emailed myself. This I did and received it okay. Please advise

If you cannot receive certain emails only, it can be because your address had been written wrongly by the sender, contact the sender and check this out.

If you have a spammed mail folder, check also in your spam mail, if you use automated antispam, the mails may have been directed by mistake in the spam folder.

Tip

How to keep a check on Email Spam?

Step 1: Set up "filters" in your Gmail account to automatically delete junk mail from specific senders. While spammers tend to change their email addresses frequently, you will sometimes get repeated spam messages from the same sender. Go into your "Settings," click "Filters," and set up a filter that automatically deletes all incoming emails from the sender.

Step 2: If you are getting junk mail from the same company, but the return address keeps changing, create a filter to delete the emails by detecting certain words. For example, maybe the company is called Global Moneymaking Enterprises. Create a filter that catches all emails that contain those three words and set it to delete them automatically.

Step 3: Rather than deleting junk emails that make it into your Gmail inbox, select them and click the "Report Spam" button. This will move the message into your spam folder, but it will also give Google information to help it improve its spam filter.

Step 4: Set up a special Gmail address that you use for making purchases, signing up for newsletters, and doing other activities that require you to give out your email address. Sometimes companies will opt you into promotional offers or sell your email address to spammers. Block this mail from coming to your main Gmail account by protecting that address and only giving out your special account address.

Step 5: If you notice a lot of junk emails in your spam folder that contain certain words, set up a filter to screen out emails with those words. Terms such as Viagra are common, but spammers often change them around to defeat spam filters, However, many of these changes are used frequently. For example, many spammers use the same Vi@gara misspelling. When you notice this, block those terms and you won't even get their messages in your Gmail spam folder.

Easy Solution...

Go To http://www.mozilla.com

Download & Install "Thunderbird". It is an e-mail program.

After It is installed and you have your e-mail setup, run the program.

At the top of Thunderbird you should see a menu. Choose TOOLS then click on MESSAGE FILTERS.

After this point it should be pretty self-explanatory. If not look at the help file....

I want to receive and send incredible male how

My Guess is you are talking about Incredible mail in here
My suggestion to you is dont go for this. This mail service has lot of problems and its PC based mail service just like outlook express. IF you go to any other computer then yours ..it would be bit harder to check your mail. There are so many other good services like yahoo, hotmail or gmail which provides you good spam protection. Incredible mail itself has lot of smileys, after some time causes nothing but frustration.
Anyways if you still wanna go for it then here is the link

Hope it helps !!

Trying to stop muptiple spam mail, to my yahoo mail plus e-mail,at times it's 360 spam in e-mail

One option would be to get a Gmail account at Gmail.com, as it is great at blocking spam, and any that gets through, you just have to mark as Spam and you won't see it again.
If you have to stay with yahoo, there are many third party spam blocking softwares available to help you out. Yahoo may even provide Spam blocking feature (I don't use yahoo, so don't know for sure).
Good luck

Some e-mail goes into the Deleted file instead of incoming mail

It must have been marked as "spam" somewhere along the way. Do you have a spam blocker installed? Try right clicking on the messages that you want to go into your inbox and see what the options are. Examples: mark a safe, not junk, etc.....
